I can’t imagine how this current wave of hysteria from a movement naming itself “justice” would feel to you. These drawings help me to better understand. ❤️❤️❤️
It came to be, in part, from interactions on CE's New and Ancient Story forums. Obviously it's been untended for a few years (though more of it is sketched and imagined). Happy you visited and shared your thanks.
I love the update and can relate SO much. I pay out-of-pocket for gel because my insurance only covers shots, and shots just don’t work for me. Last time I tried they just ended up calcifying in my butt cheeks, so for several months it was like I had a bunch of marbles implanted in my ass. I am grateful that I am in a position to self-pay, and it is beyond worth it to not have those ridiculous spikes, but I also think it’s ridiculous that my insurance happily paid for me to go in and actually see my doctor every week for an injection, which cost a lot more. My insurance covers it for trans patients and people with andropause or testicular injuries, but not for intersex, so in my view it’s another form of erasure.
Well, that’s disappointing. I don’t know how else we could chat, that is, if you want to. Email is all I can think of: ddale51@gmail.com. Contact me there if you like.
I am so moved by the way this moves from the betrayal to the way. Thank you.
Amazing what has been done in the guise of sincerely good intentions.
JP will you read this again, I've made an addition, which feels sincere but how does it strike you?

I found your substack from comments you left on a Charles Eisenstein article some time ago. So glad I did. Thank you for sharing your story 🤍

Thanks Eric - yeah, I don’t miss that monthly pain in my ass either. It’s fascinating to get to experiment and find what feels right.
Hi. We just “met” today over at Nadia’s. If you’re on Facebook, not only can we chat but there are intersex support groups I can introduce you to. 🥰
Hi Dennia, thanks for the reply and for reading sarisim papers. No FB this is the only online media I engage..
